Here you can find an overview of periods within Itaria’s history. At present, my research has focused on a period called Leiltar, which spans the years of grace 1098-1178.

‘Years of grace,’ or ‘grace’ for short, is an Hadarotian invention of year-counting. The first year of grace is supposed to be the coronation of Lord Telostra, an iconic ruler and theologian of the Hadarotian faith. My research, however, indicates this is way off; if my understanding is correct, the first year of grace would have occurred before Telostra’s house of Leros even began its dynastic control over Ironia. Was this intentional, and the true earmark has simply been lost to history? Or were the Canterinthians who devised this religious calendar victims of flawed research? At this time, I’m not sure.  At any rate, the ‘years of grace’ begin their count at around the point when Alasthia succeeded Fescia as a dominant global power.
